CorDEX Instruments, a developer
of portable equipment for explosive
atmospheres, has introduced the
Centurion XPG ATEX certified 5Mp
digital camera with strobe flashs.

The camera supports applications
within Zone 1 IIC T4 type G
(Vapour) explosive atmospheres and
will provide users with the ability to
document equipment with both still
and moving images.

The Centurion XP series’
capabilities are not restricted to
workplace safety, but can be used to
help document compliance with
Dangerous Substances and Explosive
Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR),
assure malfunctioning equipment
and processes are identified correctly,
enable rapid, accurate repairs to
ensure plant operation is at
maximum efficiency.

Centurion XPG can also play a
part in the Quality Control and
repeatability of production processes.

Each production step can be
documented by a short movie file or
suitable still images to ensure
compliance with the original design
intent.

The product is designed for all
weather day/night operation.
