Bauer is known for manufacturing gear motors for industrial applications, but until now the perception of the business is generally as a supplier of smaller units. Industrial Drive Applications allows Bauer to offer customers total package solutions across entire sites in many different industries.

The new offering includes a range of gearbox solutions with varying torque depending on requirements. Included are helical and bevel helical gearboxes which deliver up to 300,000Nm of torque and planetary gearboxes which offer up to 1.5 million Nm of torque.
