Iriss web tool for calculating ROI on IR windows
A simple-to-use, return-on-investment calculator from IRISS factors in every cost involved in running a preventative thermal imaging programme, with and without the benefit of infrared windows and, according to the company, in virtually every case, the outcome prompts a sharp intake of breath as the cost saving potential over time is huge.
Created in Microsoft Excel, sections cover survey data input, IR window cost benefit analysis, installation cost estimate and comparison analysis. It takes a little time to complete, but results are available instantly.
A spokesperson for IRISS explains: “Within just one inspection, customers inevitably cover the outlay for buying and fitting windows. The savings are even more impressive when IR windows allow the frequency of inspection to be increased. Over a five year cost analysis, that compares an annual inspection cycle to more frequent inspections, a saving in excess of 350% is projected.”
