Much of the laundry including all the bed linen is processed in large multi-chamber tunnel washers but some individual machines are required to handle scrubs, other staff uniforms, bags and personal clothing.  Last year the laundry needed to replace two machines in this area, and called on Armstrong Commercial Laundry Systems.

They installed two Primus industrial washer extractors – a 55kg machine and a large 100kg capacity machine. Both machines feature the Graphitronic microprocessor with easy to use graphic display offering a very large range of programmes including those requiring sterility for hospital and care applications.
