Designed for use alongside Toshiba TEC’s B-EX4T series of industrial printers, to enable simple integration into any production line, the ‘plug and play’ APLEX4 is supplied with a range of features as standard including tamp pad, air filter regulator, photocell and a test button.

The ability to accommodate in-line operation with thermal transfer and direct thermal media, makes the product suitable for even the most demanding environments. It can produce up to 30 labels per minute and is available in resolutions of 200, 300 and 600dpi.

Due to the capabilities of the Toshiba B-EX4T industrial printer range, the APLEX4 can accommodate ribbon lengths of up to 800m, and an automatic ribbon save feature reduces ribbon wastage and downtime whilst maximising efficiency – reducing total operating costs and helping to lower an organisation’s impact on the environment.

With an in-built backlit LCD graphical user interface (GUI), access to information and settings is simple and the APLEX4 can be set to apply labels from the top, bottom or sides and at any rotation angle required. Label sizes from 25x25mm to 116x200mm can be adhered to products and packages of all shapes and sizes, even delicate items, through the simple adjustment of contact pressure levels.

Safety is assured thanks to a perimeter signal feature that prevents piston movement in case of access to the enclosed work area, as well as a ‘presence of hand’ sensor option.
