During 2011 Nord-Lock will
introduce a laser marking on
each washer pair. It will
include the Nord-Lock
brand, control number and a
type code. This new feature
has been added to improve
traceability and control.

The marking does not last, so
Nord-Lock encourages users to make
a note of the control numbers.

With the type code
marking you can verify the
type of washer you have in
your hand. The markings are
divided into three areas where
the type code consists of 2-4
digits confirming the coating
for steel washers or the alloy
for stainless steel washers.
