Produced by online specialist Cedrec, the registers are seen by Rosti as a significant benefit towards accreditation to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, enabling quality engineer Caroline Callaghan and her colleagues to improve their ability to implement and manage legislation at the Larkhall site in Scotland.

 

This includes COSHH, the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR), the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) as well as obligations under the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS).

 

Callaghan said that ensuring people’s safety can be challenging in a manufacturing environment but the availability of a legal register, together with an online subscription supplied by Cedrec, is beneficial.
