Multipart Logistics’ warehouse has
400,000ft2 of very narrow aisles and
racking aisles that used to be lit by
400W HiBAY lighting. The client
wanted to cut energy use but needed
its forklift area to remain well lit.

Ecotronic’s solution was a HiBAY
sensor that offers a large lighting
footprint and gives the reaction time
the client wanted. EcoBAY 4 x 54W
High Rack units were fitted in
racking aisles to replace 400W HiBAY
lights. Their improved performance
meant fewer were needed.

An EcoPAK 2 x 80W fluorescent
system was fitted to under mezzanine
areas and upper floors. Daylight
harvesting engaged in upper
mezzanine areas to maximize savings.

Electricity saved amounted to
667,077kWh/year, giving a reduction
in CO2 emissions of 358,354kg/year;
and electricity saving of £66,707.72.
