After 60 years of manufacturing
industrial light fittings in Brighton,
Horsell Electrics ceased trading at
the end of April 2010 with the
loss of 12 jobs. However,
following an introduction
by South East
Manufacturing
Advisory
Service, the
business assets
were acquired by
Drallim Industries and trading has
continued as ‘Horsell Electrics’ a part
of the Industrial Division of the
Drallim Group.

With major investment from
Drallim Group, a state-of-the-art
office and manufacturing facility has
been opened in Shoreham-by-Sea,
that includes the latest in ERP systems,
which ensures order visibility from
quotation to despatch.

With its in-house lighting design
team plus an extensive on-site
manufacturing plant, Horsell
Electrics work with clients
across the UK to
design and
produce
lighting
solutions that
meet their exact
requirements. About 70%
of orders are bespoke – from
small variations of standard products
to fully custom-made luminaires. A
replacement louvre and diffuser
