Walsall Engineering has played a
significant role in line relocations
from Diageo’s plant at Kilmarnock to
Leven. The packaging line handling
the Dimple bottle has been reinstalled
into the new Bottling Hall 3
at Leven, part of a multi-million
pound investment by Diageo in the
Leven development.

The main contract was placed with
Controlrite, a subsidiary of Walsall
Engineering. Walsall Engineering
took responsibility for the mechanical
side of the project and project
managed the whole transfer process.

New bottle conveyors needed for
parts of the new line configuration
were made by the fabrication division
of Walsall Engineering.
