Europart Ashcroft has been
appointed exclusive UK distributor
for Ametek’s new range of 8.4 and
6.6in air-driven motors. The new
range features innovations in carbon
brush design, that are said to offer
longer motor life time – anything up
to 1500 hours.

The new motors are said to be
super-efficient, with less loss of
energy by using a higher percentage
of electrical power that turns into air
power. The motors are also clean and
quiet.

A foam chamber is placed around
the top of the motor to catch any
carbon dust emitted from the
brushes, with a revised design of the
cooling fan reducing operating noise
considerably.
