Magnetic inductive flow sensor
The robust VMZ.2 magnetic inductive flow sensor is the second generation from SIKA Dr. Siebert & Kühn. Its special design is said to make it highly cost effective and it is packed with technical features.

It is specifically designed for OEM applications and is now available with 4-20mA / 0-10VDC output.
This flow sensor includes an unobstructed pipe cross-section with no projecting or moving parts to avoid additional pressure drop. The VMZ.2 is unaffected by changes in viscosity, density, pressure or temperature. The use of plastic components means that the new flow sensor is both light and compact, making it suitable for use in mobile applications.
The flow sensor can be used with conductive liquids, particularly in places where some flow sensors with moving parts cannot be used due to clogging of media. It constantly measures volumetric flow rates and ensures precise dispensing of liquids over a wide measuring range. Seven different flow ranges are available with material choices including PVDF and Hastelloy C for chemical compatibility.
