The automatic ARF-1 feeder is capable of handling cartons or sleeves up to a maximum of 375mm x 400mm and will be featured on the stand with the popular Hitachi RX-S continuous ink jet coder. Other equipment on display is set to include the ICON laser coder and NGT2+ thermal transfer printer, which is aimed at top end pharmaceutical and food applications.

According to Allen Coding, the XL-Series – which has four models in the range – does not compromise on print or system quality despite being up to 40% less expensive than other thermal transfer systems. 

As well as a two component, space saving design, new features of the XL-Series include the iView colour touch screen with simple-to-use graphical user interface and the multi-tasking a:touch module for multi-printer operation, Ethernet and USB connectivity, and duel processors (one for communication and one for printing) to ensure high speed performance.
