Netbiter 3 is designed to improve the
management of fixed and moving
assets 24/7 using cloud computing
and the Internet. It has been
launched by HMS Industrial
Systems to meet a growing demand
to monitor and control applications
and equipment safely and securely.

Stuart Hannah, business
development manager, says: “As it is
web-based, it is viable for any
number of local or remote devices
from a single asset, such as a PLC or
frequency inverter, to a complete
plant or process. The inclusion of
GPS means location-based asset
management is also available.”
Netbiter comprises: secure online
storage, gateway communication
devices, and online monitoring tools.

HMS uses an online data centre,
Netbiter Argos, which is backed up at
two separate locations. Secure, remote
access is through multi-level
passwords from any
Internet-enabled
device.
