Wearer fatigue is not an
issue, says JSP, when its
disposable Typhoon valve,
fold-flat mask is worn. The special
overflow valve system creates
minimal breathing resistance and
reduces internal heat, CO2 and
moisture build-up, allowing the mask
to be worn for long periods.

The mask offers close, secure
fitting and clear vision, while being
convenient and easy to use. The
valve is designed to allow for a large
volume of air to escape through a
diaphragm, resulting in minimal
breathing resistance and low
retention of CO2, heat and moisture.

A 360° comfort foam area around
the inside of the mask provides a
good fit and prevents misting, aided
by a welded nose piece which
prevents irritation and mis-shaping.

A latex-free adjustable strap that
enables the mask to be fitted to all
head sizes and shapes.

The Typhoon conforms to
N149:2001+A1:2009 and comes in
individually packaged models. The
315 FFP1 performs with a minimum
efficiency of 80%, with a protection
factor of up to 4 for low risk jobs.

The most efficient of the range, the
Typhoon 335 FFP3 is designed for
tasks where a protection factor of up
to 20 is required and offers in excess
of 99% efficiency, protecting against
fine mists, fumes and dust.
