To help combat high rates of
absenteeism, NHS staff across the UK
have been undertaking a series of
Performance Master Classes, utilising
state of the art digital performance
technology, led by performance and
technology specialist, Optima-life.

The classes explore factors affecting
performance, look at attendees’
strengths and weaknesses and give
them an insight into the science,
physiology and psychology behind
sustained performance. They are then
given the opportunity to wear the
Firstbeat Bodyguard. This
sophisticated technology is used by
sports players across the world to help
deliver performance and resilience.
