New from Kistler is a modular highend
multichannel charge amplifier to
provide the precise signal
amplification demanded by
laboratory applications for extremely
accurate measurement of physical
quantities. The Type 5080A amplifier
is suitable for processing signals from
a wide variety of piezoelectric
sensors.

The new charge amplifier offers a
wide frequency range from 0 to more
than 200kHz, a broad measuring
range (±2 to 2,2 million pC), low
drift, low noise level, enhanced lowpass
filtering and an integral
summing processor as standard. AC
and DC versions are available with
both USB and RS-232C interfaces.

The 19in rack mounting, modular
design can accommodate up to eight
amplifier modules which may be any
combination of charge modules for
piezoelectric sensors and dual-mode
modules with charge/PiezoTron
input for use with force, pressure,
torque or acceleration sensors.
