Vacon’s new 100 Motor Mountable
AC drives are designed for extremely
harsh environments. They deliver
cost and space savings in
installations as no additional
enclosures are required, and are
available at powers ranging from 1.1
to 30 kW.

Described as the company’s most
robust AC drives, they feature a diecast
frame, and large and open
cooling ribs. The enclosure is rated
to IP66 and designed to withstand
severe vibrations. The drives are not
bound to a specific mounting location,
opening up new ways of using AC
drives, according to Heikki Hiltunen,
executive vice president at Vacon.
