Specialist in the design, manufacture
and supply of tube bending and end
forming technologies, AddisonMckee
has been commissioned, under its
Eagle brand name, to manufacture a
complete muffler line using new and
rebuilt equipment for use by one of
the world’s largest exhaust
manufacturers at its Mexican facility.

The equipment in question will be
used to produce the muffler assembly
for Ford’s global CD4 platform
vehicle, badged ‘Fusion’ in the United
States and ‘Mondeo’ in Europe.

AddisonMckee will be supplying a
rebuilt lockseamer with a new destacking
unit, a new sheet embossing
press, a shell oval forming station,
new vertical flanger, new vertical
internal stuffer, a vertical end cap to
the shell assembly machine, a vertical
muffler end spinner and three
standalone baffle to tube ridgelock
machines.
