Round cable entry plates have
been added to the icotek
range of cable and wiring
accessories which can be fitted in
both standard cut-outs or metric
versions covering thread sizes from
M32 – M63. These versatile products
provide IP66 sealing, together with
cable strain relief and are said to be a
cost effective alternative to
traditional cable glands.

KEL-DPZ round cable entry plates
from M Buttkereit are
suitable for a range of
applications where
speed of installation,
combined with
savings on space
and materials are
priority. There are 10
plates in the range, each
offering multi-cable entry
facilities, for a cable range from 3.2
to 22.2mm outside diameter. Plates
can provide high packing densities of
up to 35 cables/plate, for wiring sizes
from 3.2 to 6.5 O/D. Others in the
range cover varying combinations of
cable quantities (4 to 19) and
diameters. Cable entry plates range
from 44 to 75mm diameter. Hexagon
locknuts provide positive clamping
and IP66 sealing at the point of
assembly in the bulkhead
entry aperture.

Cabling can be
completed within
seconds. Individual cables
only need to be
pushed through the
appropriate sized
grommet which is preformed in
the elastomer sealing plate.
