An essential element of the construction of the two-storey extension is to ensure continued production in the immediate adjacent buildings while maintaining health and safety of all site personnel.

Lorien project manager Wayne Haywood said: “This is an interesting project for us as we are bringing a considerable amount of our expertise in the brewing and processing industry to bear. The new-build is on schedule for completion at the end of the summer and has been designed in such a way as to allow for further expansion in the future.”

Historically associated with the brewing industry, Lorien Engineering also operates in the food, pharmaceutical and waste sectors. This project represents advancement into agricultural product processing for the firm.
