The British Safety Council has
launched a range of instant access
health, safety and environmental elearning
courses, allowing employers
to easily provide online training from
as little as £10 per course.

The courses are available on a ‘payas-
you-go basis’ and can be purchased
online using a credit card. Based on
best practice, the first batch includes:
Introduction to Workplace Health
and Safety
General Health and Safety
Display Screen Equipment
Fire Safety Awareness
Manual Handling
Health and Safety for Managers
Environmental Awareness.

John Phillips, director of
qualifications and standards at the
British Safety Council, said: “Elearning
allows employees to study
around their working day at a time
and place that suits them, and is a
great way for employers to meet their
legal obligation to provide suitable
health and safety training to employees.
