Industry expends huge amounts of
energy – and money – in drying
processes. The control of the
moisture content is a critical
endeavour in so many sectors,
impacting on product quality,
packing density, shelf-life and other
performance attributes.

Powder, flake and granule
manufacturing processes require
real-time measurements to be fed
back to the PLC which in turn
controls parameters such as oven
temperature, drying time and line
speed in order to achieve the desired
moisture end-point.

NDC’s CM710e industrial
moisture gauge and its sister gauge,
the PH710e pharmaceutical moisture
gauge, optimised for the required
moisture range, enable users to
control drying processes based on a
robust moisture measurement.

Ethernet connectivity and analogue
outputs enable flexible network and
process integration.

Where ambient process
temperatures exceed 50°C, a cooled
housing is offered or, where dust
hazard is present, an ATEX certified
configuration is offered.
