S+S Inspection will use PPMA to
launch two new products. The first is
a totally new Raycon X-ray product
inspection system using the latest
low energy X-ray source and
sophisticated image processing
software to identify metallic and nonmetallic
contamination. It can operate
at up to 600 items per minute.

The second launch is the GHF
multi-frequency search head, which
will be shown mounted on an S+S
conveyor system as a full metal
detection system. The proven
Genius+ ‘Touch’ control system is
fully integrated into the detector
housing to provide a smooth,
modern appearance, which is simple
and quick to clean.

Features of the GHF are its hygienic
and solid construction and,
importantly for food applications, the
enhanced, high frequency detection
capability for stainless steel.
