handling solutions, including plastic
containers, vacuum
formed trays,
pallet boxes and
pallets. The
company will be
showing examples
of bespoke
products, such as
injection moulded
containers for Boots, John
Lewis, WH Smith and Ocado, and
vacuum formed trays for automotive
manufacturers and their suppliers.

Launching at the show will be a
1200 by 1000 by 975mm foldable
plastic pallet box reinforced with
steel. Utz worked with its
automotive and postal customers to
come up with a box that stands up
to the heavy duty treatment
encountered in today’s fast-paced
distribution systems. The
company
believes that,
with a price not
dissimilar to
standard plastic
boxes, the
reinforced
version will pay back
in dividends when taking into
account the operational cost savings
of eliminating breakages.
