Type 3738 electronic valve position
monitors from Samson Controls can
be used for on/off valves across a
wide range of applications and
enable valve position monitors to be
configured at the push of a button.

The robust device is a contactless,
magneto resistive sensor system that
works with a NAMUR signal in
compliance with IEC 60947-5-6 and
is powered by a two-wire supply. As
a result, the valve position monitor
can replace existing solenoid valves
and limit switches without the need
to change wiring or signal levels. It
includes functions such as selftuning
and diagnostics, which opens
up a range of opportunities for
control and asset management.
