At this year’s MTEC Exhibition
TDK-Lambda UK will launch new
and innovative power supplies that
address the specific needs of the
medical, industrial, broadcast,
telecoms, test and measurement and
factory automation markets.

Among the products to be
highlighted, the GWS series of ‘green’
power supplies complies with the
energy saving requirements of
Energy Star and the ErP (Energy
related Products) Directive by having
a no load input power consumption
that remains below 0.5W. Rated at
250W, the GWS250 AC-DC power
supply is offered in four models with
nominal output 12, 24, 36 and 48V.

With a compact footprint and 1U
height, this innovative power supply
is a convection cooled product that
fits into space previously requiring
fan-cooled products. Since the
GWS250 does not have a fan it is
suited to applications requiring low
audible noise levels, or in equipment
where long life would be a critical
