Certification and
Recertification Courses are
designed for those responsible
for the safety aspects of oxyfuel
gas systems. A recent
attendee is Peter Davy, health
& safety coordinator, Boston
College, Lincolnshire.
Davy won a national
competition and attended the
two-day Certification Course.

It covered theoretical
instruction on Oxy-Fuel Gas
Safety, Properties of Gases,
Safe Use and Operation of
Systems. The second day
included practical training to
teach delegates how to fully
test an oxy-fuel gas station
and pass it off for safe use.
