New from Broadwood International
is the SnowEx SP-85 walk-behind
spreader. The device is self-powered
by its own wheels, which transmits
drive through a sealed gearbox to a
spinning disc, spreading salt in a
circular motion.

The company has also introduced
the SD-95 drop spreader which ‘lays
out’ dry rock salt. A pneumatic-tyred
wheel at each end of the
polyethylene hopper keeps the
spreader stable and easy to
manoeuvre, and allows rock salt to
drop through the 45kg capacity
hopper via an adjustable flow gate.

This makes the SD-95 suitable for
walkways and paths where
overspreading might otherwise
damage grass and foliage.

The spreader can also be towed
behind a garden tractor.
