Schaeffler has introduced a new
Wind Power Standard (WPOS) for its
bearings for wind power applications.

Through this standard for products
and processes Schaeffler is ensuring
the high quality and reliability of its
bearings, which will carry a ‘WPOS’
mark in the future.

All Schaeffler bearings for this
sector are expected to be included in
the standard by 2014. Internal audits
will monitor standard compliance
with strict quality specifications that
apply to all development and design.
