Many of the companies attending the event had little or no knowledge about LEV legislation that is designed to protect employees against harmful fumes or dust. 

Tony Bosworth, operations director at Impact Technical Services comments: “We were shocked to find that approximately 70% of manufacturers at the show knew very little about LEV legislation, and the fact that they can be prosecuted or fined £1-25K for non-compliance.

“During the five-day event, we educated a large number of delegates who were grateful to be provided with information about simple steps to take in order to be compliant, inviting them all to take advantage of our free workplace extraction assessment.”
