A new range of ergonomic wheels
from BIL have special crown treads
in smooth rolling polyurethane
mechanically locked and chemically
bonded to a metal core. This reduces
the force needed to manually propel
large loads.

BIL has tested the
wheels against other
types of wheel
material, both
from its own
standard ranges
and others
available in the
marketplace. Testing
included start/stop
and rolling
resistance for
push/pull trucks,
displacement
and maintain movement tests.

The combination of the special
compound polyurethane wheel with
85 Shore A hardness, in conjunction
with the crown tread on the tyre
gives is reported to give outstanding
performance.
