Refrigerated air supply
Available from Allegro Industries, the new Allegro Cold Air System is a fresh, refrigerated air supply system that provides comfortable and safe cooled breathing air for industrial users who require an OSHA-compliant fresh air supply system, with the advantages of air-conditioned air.
The system is said to help boost productivity and minimise the possibility of heat stroke, heat exhaustion, dehydration, nausea and cramps. By improving worker safety and comfort, the Cold Air System helps reduce the frequency and duration of breaks on the job.
The unit is sealed and maintenance free with the exception of a removable, washable filter and is powder-coated for durability. The 34.5kg unit is easy to transport with extendable handle and two rugged wheels. The NIOSH approved respirators also feature an air flow valve for increased user comfort. Specs: 120V AC, 60 Hz, 10.5A. Measurements: 23.5in (H) x 15in (D) x 19.5in (W) (59.7 cm x 38.1 cm x 49.5 cm).
The Allegro Cold Air System is also available in 1- and 2-Worker Systems. One-worker systems arrive complete and include the following: a comfortable NIOSH-approved full-mask, or a single bib maintenance-free Tyvek hood or a double bib maintenance-free Tyvek hood respirator; the Allegro Cold Air Blower and a 100ft breathing hose.
Two-Worker Systems include either two full-masks, or two single bib maintenance-free Tyvek hoods or two double bib maintenance-free Tyvek hood respirators; the Allegro Cold Air Blower and two 100ft breathing hoses.
