As more building operators opt for a
refurbishment strategy rather than
replacement, Envirotec has reported
a sharp increase in demand for its
comprehensive refurbishment service
for air handling units (AHUs).

“Even 20-30 year old AHUs can be
successfully refurbished with a major
improvement in performance – and
the financial and environmental
savings are very significant,” says
Envirotec’s Ron Flewett. “Our
experience is that savings, compared
to buying new units, typically range
from 20% to 50%.”
