In May 2011, a school in
Warwickshire contacted local
approved Belzona contractor,
Arden Construction
regarding steps which were
leaking and allowing water to
seep into a wash room below.

The steps allowed access to
the roof and it was vital all
potential slip hazards were
eliminated.

Belzona recommended a
high performance barrier
coating to seal the steps.

Belzona 5811 (Immersion
Grade), a two component
epoxy system commonly
used to protect immersed
surfaces, was applied to the
steps and up adjacent walls to
provide total encapsulation of
the concrete substrate.

Belzona 4411 (Granogrip),
a safety grip system ws
applied to provide an ant-slip
surface.
