Polypal undertook the work in three distinct phases, as Ian Craig, Business Development Manager at the company, explains: “The 300m² mezzanine floor structure was constructed above the area of the ground floor that was set to house the new trade counter and is dedicated to the bulk storage of insulation materials,” he says. 

“Once this was in place, we supplied and installed a total of 12 bays of pallet racking, 10 bays of cantilever racking for bulk timber storage and 24 bays of A-frame racking for loose timber – all at ground level. The project was finished with a complete re-design of the trade counter area, alongside the installation of perimeter longspan racking and both low and high level gondola shelving to the shop floor area.”
