A UK lift manufacturer has
introduced two systems that restrain
trailers as they load and unload.

Pickerings Lifts Supply Chain
Group, UK supplier of Kelley and
Serco products, has two systems that
reduce the risk of trailer ‘pull-offs’
during the loading and unloading
process. The restraints – the PitBull
and SLSC (Safety Lock Surface
Chock) – are designed to secure
vehicles safely as a load is removed
from, or added to, the trailer.

The Pitbull uses the underrun
protection system at the rear of the
trailer.Made from tough steel that is
designed to withstand impact, the
SLSC restrains the last wheel of the
vehicle mechanically, which holds
vehicle and trailer firmly in place
while loading and unloading occurs.
