ASG Services has installed
safety solutions such as
handrails, barriers, and
signage, and marked
pedestrian walkways at the
Exeter distribution centre of
Alliance Healthcare.

Pallet racking was given
end-of-rack protection, while
a number of walkways were
protected using barriers and
hand rails, with an additional
100 x 75mm angle fixed to
the floor to prevent the forks
of any fork lift causing
damage or injury.

Pedestrian routes were
marked with painted lines,
and floor signs to make
personnel aware of the
danger of fork lift trucks. A
similar sign alerts lift truck
operators to pedestrians.

Retractable barriers have
been placed at the entrance
to rack aisles.

Fire exit directional signs
were installed, as well as
ASG’s anti-slip, self-adhesive
fire exit hatch.
