The new Oilmiser oil sampling valve
with pass-thru technology (SV-PT)
from JLM Systems offers efficiency
and flexibility when it comes to oil
sampling procedures carried out
daily by industrial maintenance
personnel.
When conventional oil sampling
valves are used on gearboxes and
reservoirs that are vented to
atmosphere, a brazed pitot tube
extends down below the oil level. To
draw an oil sample with this type of
sampling valve, a separate female
probe is connected to a hand held
vacuum pump through a length of
0.25in OD plastic sampling tube.

The Oilmiser Pass-Thru design
eliminates both the brazed pitot tube
and the separate female probe. The
standard 0.25in OD sampling tube or
the Oilmiser pass-thru pitot tube can
now be inserted directly into the
machine.
