Simrit UK & Ireland has installed its
first Merkel Xpress service in
England. With this service it is able
to manufacture seals, sealing
components and guides to satisfy
demands such as: Express parts in
Premium Freudenberg materials,
prototyping without tool costs, small
series quantities, and MRO supplies.

Parts can be machined in original
Freudenberg Simrit materials and to
original Simrit profiles. Merkel
Xpress solutions are said to minimise
machine and plant downtime and
allow projects to proceed without
delay as seals can be made available
in the UK at short notice from a
batch size of 1 upwards and without
tool costs. The company develops its
own elastomer blends with specific
properties for each application.
