BSS Industrial has been awarded a
framework agreement by the North
Western Universities Purchasing
Consortium. For a second term
running it will provide plumbing,
(ceramics,) heating and ventilation
equipment to the 27 members of the
Universities Consortium. It will also
supply products to an additional six
Consortia who joined the tender
process for the first time this year.

for BSS Industrial comments: “This

through to tender
submission to ensure that our bid
was successful and their hard work
has paid off.”
Compared to last year, the 2011
framework spend is estimated to
increase significantly with the joining
of the six additional Consortia. The
contract has been awarded for an
initial two year period with options
outlined for two extensions of 12
months each.

Sullivan adds: “We are confident
that we can continue to offer all
parties the product choice and level
of service that the NWUPC has
experienced over the last 12 months.”
