DEM Manufacturing’s new Deltron
480C and 483C ranges of aluminium
enclosures have combined IP67/IP68
ratings and EMI/RFI protection,
making them suitable for
demanding electrical and
environmental conditions in
industry, food preparation,
aerospace, military, transportation
and marine applications. All are
certified to BS EN 60529:1992.

The company has manufactured
an EMI/RFI seal that maintains
conductivity between the lid and
box, eliminating high frequency
radiated emissions. EMI and RFI
screening properties are not affected
and the watertight seal is maintained
(1m for 30min – IP67 and depths to
5m for 1h – IP68). This means the
enclosure can be used in high
humidity, underwater applications
and those subjected to heavy spray.
