A new Batten Mount Passive Infrared
Occupancy Switch from Danlers is
said to be capable of delivering
significant energy savings. The easyto-
fit control can be mounted onto
the end of lighting battens via the
20mm knock out. The switch includes
the connection 20mm thread and 1m
of wire tails to connect to the ballast.

Units have a passive infrared quad
sensor to detect movement of a warm
body and include a photocell to
monitor ambient light level which
can be adjusted via the internal lux
adjuster. If no more movement is
detected within a certain time, the
PIR will switch off the load
