Over the past four years ABB’s global
network of Safety Execution Centres
(SEC) has expanded from
eight centres to 20. These
centres provide customers
with local resources for
safety instrumented
system (SIS) design,
engineering and project
execution, as well as access
to resident safety
standards experts and
technology experts. In
total, this global team includes more
than 500 TÃœV certified and ABB
technology certified safety engineers.
