Known as Data Manager 5 and powered by the breakthrough Adaptive Cross Correlation (AXC) processing technique, the new software makes it quicker and easier for users to analyse the data gathered by Permasense’s corrosion and erosion-monitoring sensors and helps improve on-stream decision-making around asset integrity and production rates. It is designed to be retrofitted to all installed Permasense systems.

Permasense’s non-intrusive corrosion and erosion-monitoring system uses permanently installed, wireless sensors that continually measure the wall thickness of fixed equipment and quickly detect metal loss caused by internal corrosion or erosion. Combining established ultrasonic sensor technology with wireless communication, it sends real-time data automatically to the user’s desk, enabling them to view equipment wall thicknesses and wall loss rates at critical or high risk locations.
