officers are insisting on the use of
working platforms, in preference to
ladders, to improve safety. The
company will be showing its SPS
system, a sturdy platform that is
suitable for straight stairs and stairs
with corners. It keeps the stairway
clear to give full access for people
and materials up and down the stair.

It is then easy to close a strong trelllis
platform which safeguards operatives
from falling into the stairwell.
