Owned by Sunflex UK, Swish is a
major brand of window fashions and
has introduced a range of crystal
glass tie-back hooks.With packaging
seen as key to the products’ success
the company contacted Bell
Packaging for help.

The fragile nature
of the product and its
high value meant
robust packaging was
required. Shelf impact
had to be maximised
and the product needed
to be seen. Various concepts were
considered and the final design uses
a printed PP box with clear PET
covering.

The PP gives a high degree of
strength to the finished construction;
a false bottom was created and the
fitting kit contained without
deterring from the pack appearance.

The packing contract was awarded
to Bell Packaging (India) PVT. Phil
Scott, MD of Sunflex, says: “As well as
manufacturing, Bell
India assembled the
packaging and
delivered it to the
supplier’s factory in
New Delhi. The
packaging was filled and
then shipped, arriving in the UK in
November.We are delighted to have
launched the product nationally in
the 2012 Sunflex range.”
