Sato UK has launched a new tag and
ticket printer, the DR3, to meet
demand for clear, visible information
on products, including those
destined for retail outlets.

The printer can be used for produ
and garment tags, luggage tags,
information and price labels, shelfedge
labels and food safety labels.

A key feature is the unit’s
standalone printing capabilities.

Variable data can be input using a
new SATO keypad, so the printer
need not be connected to a PC or
host system. The machine is designed
for easy configuration without using
a host PC, but can also be operated
in online mode while connected to
one – for example, for monitoring
and remote printer management,
even of multiple printers.
