As part of a 14-machine order for
new equipment, Cargotec has
delivered 12 Kalmar TT616i terminal
tractors to Operaciones Portuarias
Canarias – which operates the leading
terminal at the Port of Las Palmas,
Gran Canaria. The machines were
purchased as replacements for
existing units, together with two
additional machines, a Kalmar DRF
450-60 reachstacker and a Kalmar
DCE150-12 forklift truck.

The Cargotec Kalmar TT616i
terminal tractor has been designed
specifically for heavy-duty use in port
and container terminals. OPCSA
selected the equipment for its robust
design features, plus a longstanding
relationship with Cargotec. The
machines entered service immediately
on delivery, transporting containers
throughout the busy terminal.
