Prima Dental in Gloucester has
invested in 14 Vision Herringbone
burners from AmbiRad to provide
radiant heating for its workshops.

The burners’ high operational
efficiencies and excellent radiant
performance are said to enable fuel
savings of up to 65%. They are listed
on the government’s ECA scheme for
low energy technologies. AmbiRad
says NOx emissions can be 40%
lower than for some conventional
radiant heating systems.

Fitted to the ceiling, the burners
are evenly spread over the workshop
to provide good distribution of heat.

Featuring a discreet air intake and
flue system, the installation ensured
minimal piercing of the roof
structure and membrane.

Features include internal
Turbulators that pressure flue gases
onto the radiant surface for
increased efficiency, state of the art
heat exchanger systems and an
efficient burner that has long flame
lengths for even heat distribution. An
AmbiRad SmartCom control system
manages energy use.
